How to layer your waist beads

In Ghana, we traditionally wear beads in set of 3 strands. You can layer with  multiples strands of the same design, or layer complimentary strands, my fave! I love seeing the colors of the various strands work together.

Layering is a beautiful way to display the beads if you are wearing multiple strands. This simply involves tying the strands in different lengths so that they drape in a tiered pattern
